Location: Akron, OH

Pay: $3,040.00 weekly

Shifts: 5x8 hour shifts from 7a-3:30p

Seven Healthcare are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. This position specializes in radiology technology and is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy Level 1 trauma hospital environment. Experience in such an environment is required to support the high-paced, demanding setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist

• Perform advanced radiology procedures, including select CT procedures
• Appropriately communicate with patients, physicians, and hospital employees
• Calibrate and operate equipment; properly position patients and apply restraining devices
• Initiate CPR when necessary
• Utilize hospital and radiology computer systems effectively
• Interact effectively with diverse populations, respecting their dignity and self-respect

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist

• Graduate of an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio
• Successful completion of additional radiology procedure training
• CPR Certification
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
