Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician

• Sterilize and prepare medical equipment for surgeries and procedures
• Ensure compliance with sterilization and infection control policies
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes
• Coordinate equipment needs with medical staff

Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician

• 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
• Previous travel experience with at least 1 assignment in the last 2 years
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CERT-SPT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS-AHA)
