(R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) - Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in certain states - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor - Venipuncture certification: Preferred in certain states Must-Have: - Associates degree in Radiologic Technology Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment. Produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Call is required as part of the rotation with the team, including weekend call shifts. Weekend coverage is required, on call, and depends on the shift hired for. Documentation System: Epic & Mach7 PACS. Communication: Microsoft Teams. Support: IV Teams available. Pharmacy is available 24/7. Phlebotomy is available 24/7. Transportation is available with varying shifts. Unit Secretary is present. Provider Coverage includes Intensivist and Hospitalist 24/7. Special procedures include biopsy, drainage, etc.
