About the Position

Job Title: Staff Registered Vascular Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cardiovascular Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 5+ years recent Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) experience License: Active Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) CCI certification Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Venous experience is required. COVID vaccination is mandatory; declinations not accepted. Previous travel experience is required. 1 supervisory reference from the last 6 months is required. 1 supervisory reference from the last 12 months is required. Skills checklist specific to the discipline is required. Description: Under limited supervision, the staff registered vascular technologist will provide clinically relevant information to assist the vascular surgeon with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The staff RVT duties performed are consistent with their education and training and in accordance with facility policies and applicable professional standards. Primary responsibilities include assisting with patient assessments and diagnostic testing. Other responsibilities may include maintaining equipment and assisting in procedures. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to patient care and safety is critical. Strong interpersonal skills will enhance collaboration with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
