About the Position
Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT/X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening/Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: CA license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, Fluoroscopy Must-Have: - CT and X-Ray experience - Required certifications Description: Must have CT and X-Ray experience along with required certifications and a CA license. Unit has 2 scanners: Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed. The average scan volume is 10-20 scans depending on the shift. Evenings are the busiest shifts. Radiology floor-specific orientation is provided. Common types of patients include ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures. General CT experience is necessary. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment. Charting system used is Cerner. No BSN required. Radiologist coverage is not 24/7; Nighthawk is used for night shift. Floating may be required, with specific orientation for the radiology floor.
