About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years pediatric experience License: Virginia license required Certifications: RRT, PALS, NRP, and BLS certified Must-Have: - Experience working with vented patients in areas such as emergency departments, neonatal intensive care units, pediatric intensive care units, and general pediatric care - Ability to conduct diagnostic tests - Skills in developing treatment plans - Capacity to provide emergency care when needed Description: Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients. Work with ventilated patients across various settings. Conduct diagnostic tests to assess lung function and other respiratory conditions. Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to the needs of pediatric patients. Provide emergency respiratory care when required. Be willing to work every other weekend and on holidays. Participate in call requirements as discussed during the interview.
