About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 1845-0715 Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Current License - Respiratory Therapist Certifications: Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS Must-Have: - Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience. Description: Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Unit patients. Maintains clinical expertise for departmental assignments throughout various business units, as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other employees as needed regarding patient care needs. Documents all aspects of patient care adequately. Supervises, directs, and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory interns, externs, and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
