About the Position

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours, starting anywhere from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and ending between 3:30 PM Experience: 2+ years of Mammography experience License: ARRT (M) Certification Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: 2+ years of Mammography experience, ARRT (M) Certification Description: Assists in breast biopsy procedures, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms. Instructs and positions patients to obtain acceptable radiographs of diagnostic quality. Ensures work area meets appropriate standards of safety, equipment supply, and cleanliness levels. Manually enters data ensuring proper preparation for dictation and billing. Adheres to all policies and procedures. Permits one unscheduled absence and two tardies for contracts that are 13 weeks in duration, if exceeded, the contract will be terminated immediately.
