About the Position

Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Required Certifications: BLS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) Must-Have: - Breast experience required Description: Background hits must be disclosed. Appropriate certifications include Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS). Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures in Cardiac and Vascular Laboratories. If certified in Cardiac: Perform echocardiograms, TEE, TTE, stress echo, and structural heart program imaging. If certified in Vascular: Perform upper/lower venous duplexes, arterial duplexes, dialysis graphs, and other vascular assessments. Prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely completion of procedures. Obtain necessary information prior to testing and answer patient queries courteously. Perform all procedures within established guidelines and timeframes. Notify medical staff if images deviate from the norm. Document all procedures within the patient chart. Calculate and measure cardiovascular structures from data to aid physician interpretation. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and procedure rooms. Complete accurate documentation to ensure proper billing. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
