About the Position

Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist for a full time, onsite opportunity in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Pay:
$69.00 to $79.35 per hour, based on education and experience

What You'll Do:
• Develop radiation treatment plans that deliver prescribed doses accurately and safely
• Perform and supervise patient contouring, localization, CT simulation, and treatment planning
• Coordinate simulation and tumor localization procedures
• Calculate and document radiation dosages
• Assist with brachytherapy procedures and beam modification devices
• Support radiation therapists with treatment implementation
• Provide technical assistance to the Radiation Physicist
• Maintain radiation safety standards and assist with radioactive source management

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of dosimetry experience under the supervision of a dosimetrist, medical physicist, or radiation oncologist (or equivalent)
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) credential through the American Association of Medical Dosimetry
• Ability to relocate to Grand Junction, Colorado before starting
