Requirements:
- Required Certifications: ASCP-HT
- Required Skills: Additive fixatives, Automated/Manual Microtome, Automatic tissue processor, Basic dye stains, Calcified/decalcified tissue, Carbohydrates and amyloid, Cell component preservation indications and contra-indications for use, Clearing/types of agents, Coagulant/ non-coagulant fixatives, Connective and muscle, Core biopsies, Coverslip, Curettings, Cuts tissue sections using microtome and cryostat, Cutting blocks, Cytoplasmic stains, Decalcification, Dehydration/ types of agents, Differentiation, Embedding GI specimens, Embedding large specimens, Embedding Molds, Embedding skin techniques, Embedding smalls and bigs, Excision specimens, Gelatin/adhesive media, GI Processing Schedule, Giemsa and all formulations, Hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stain, Histology Cassettes, Hospital clinical , Identifying Artifacts, IHC staining, Immunohistochemistry, Incisional biopsies, Microtomy of Fatty Tissue, Microtomy of Frozen sections, Microtomy of hard tissue, Microwave Processing, Nuclear stains, Paraffin Wax sections, Periodic Acid-Schiff (PAS) stain, Precision microtomy, Prepares frozen section and mounts sections on glass slides, Prepares slides for staining, Removing foreign objects as allowed by protocol, Shave biopsies, Smears and squash preparations, Special Stains
Job Details:
- Pay: $1839/week - $2068/week
- Assignment Length: 13-week assignment
- Shift: 5, 8-Hour 21:00 - 05:30
- At least one year of experience required
