Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care through the administration of radiation therapy treatments in accordance with nationally accepted standards of practice.
• Perform treatment simulations and fabricate all necessary shielding blocks for patient procedures.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) throughout the course of patient care.
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments, including performing quality control and assurance tests.
• Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices.
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff and support interdisciplinary cooperation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapist experience required.
• ARRT (T) certification required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• 1 year of travel experience required, OR post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with TrueBeam treatment delivery system preferred.
• Experience with ARIA and Trilogy systems preferred.
