About the Position

Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient (Days)

Tucson, AZ

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 days per week, including potential weekend days

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient acute care setting
• May float between a Level I Trauma hospital and a Level III Trauma hospital as needed
• Evaluate and treat patients across multiple specialty areas within the acute care environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and functional outcomes
• Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with facility standards prior to and throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of occupational therapy experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active Arizona OT license in hand at time of submission, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
• Must be available to start on the assigned start date or no more than one week later
• Requested time off (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days and no RTO is permitted during the first week of assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel therapy assignment experience is highly preferred
• Multi-specialty acute care knowledge and experience across various departments and trauma levels
• Flexibility with facility locations, shifts, and departments is strongly advantageous
