About the Position

Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – General Surgery

Location

Wheatland, WY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Thursday | On-call rotation 10–15 days per month, including rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in general surgery cases within a critical access hospital setting
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by passing instruments and anticipating procedural needs
• Participate in on-call rotation, including rotating weekends and holidays as required
• Complete all required facility learning modules prior to and during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from an approved credentialing vendor
• Minimum of 24 months of surgical technologist experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS) clearance or eligibility
• Valid driver's license for residency verification
• No adverse actions or hits on state license to practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel healthcare assignment experience strongly preferred
• Flexibility with facility locations, shifts, and surgical departments
• Surgical tech skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
