Job Title

Surgical Technician First Assist – Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first assist duties in surgical procedures across Orthopedics, Neurology, and ENT specialties
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems during procedures
• Fulfill on-call obligations including a minimum of 1–2 call shifts per week
• Participate in one 24-hour weekend call shift per month per schedule
• Collaborate with charge staff and nursing management during on-call coverage periods

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Surgical Technician First Assist
• Strong proficiency in Orthopedic, Neurological, and ENT surgical procedures
• Demonstrated experience with robotic surgical systems
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as outlined by the department schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical technician or first assist role
• Familiarity with board management and scheduling in a surgical setting
