Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment in a busy Operating Room. The Surgical Tech will assist the surgical team by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, handling surgical instruments, and supporting a variety of surgical procedures to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring equipment and instruments are sterile and available.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining the sterile field.
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to facility policy.
• Prepare, inspect, and organize surgical equipment and supplies.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
• Assist with room turnover between surgical cases.

Requirements

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience scrubbing a variety of surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, and Pediatrics.
