Shifts: 12 hour nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel position in Martinsburg, WV. This role involves working in an acute care setting, providing essential respiratory therapy services to pediatric, adult, and neonatal patients. Assignments can vary greatly, but the RTs collaborate to ensure all patients receive optimum care.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Assess patients, plan, and evaluate treatment based on physician orders
• Administer treatments: O2, humidity therapy, airway management, resuscitation
• Operate mechanical ventilation, postural drainage procedures, chest physiotherapy, Bipap, Cpap
• Perform ABGs and EKGs during off-hours
• Ensure equipment is set up correctly and treatments are administered as ordered
• Float to Level III NICU as needed

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• RRT and CRT with license held prior to July 1st, 2022
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required
• Independently intubate adults
• Prior experience in Level II-III NICU, including ventilator management
• Experience with pediatric floor care and adult patients
