Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Long Term Care (LTC)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
• Work to decrease aspiration risks through evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services within the facility
• Ensure all services are provided in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures
• Provide appropriate care and services to residents in a long-term care setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Speech Language Pathology experience
• Active Texas State SLP License (required at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Familiarity with short-term rehabilitation settings
