Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 4 days x 10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Weekend rotation required | Projected Start: 06/30/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient acute care physical therapy services within a 175-bed hospital setting
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 8–10 patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries using EPIC EMR
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays (2–3 weekends per month)

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license or eligibility to practice in Alaska
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Demonstrated acute care experience is required; candidates without this will not be considered
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
• Strong adaptability and self-directed work style
