Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient rehabilitation by implementing treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with clinical standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients on prescribed exercises and rehabilitation techniques
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Prepare treatment areas and therapy equipment
Ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols
Support a positive and patient-focused rehabilitation environment

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maryland
