About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (09:00 - 17:30) / 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in outpatient settings, travel experience required License: Must have a valid physical therapy license Certifications: BLSS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of recent physical therapy experience - Outpatient clinic experience - Experience with vestibular and neuro physical therapy - Experience with concussion and dry needling preferred - Completed at least one travel assignment Description: This position requires a dedicated physical therapist to work in an outpatient setting. The role involves treating patients with various conditions, including but not limited to ankle sprains, cervicalgia, degenerative disc disease, and neurological disorders. Candidates should possess strong assessment and evaluation skills. Experience in gait training and developing home exercise programs is essential. The therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census will be approximately 10, with an expected number of visits per day around 5. The role demands excellent time management, safety, and injury prevention skills. The physical therapist will participate in interdisciplinary support to enhance patient care. Strong communication and patient-family education skills are necessary for this position. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality rehabilitation services. Understanding and experience with various insurance processes, including Medicare and Medicaid, is preferred.
