About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years required License: Not applicable Certifications: ARRT (NM) or NMTCB; BLS Must-Have: - 2+ years of experience in Nuclear Medicine - ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Description: This position is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures. The candidate should have experience with Siemens EVO and Siemens INTEVO equipment. Daily responsibilities include managing 8-10 patients. Common diagnoses treated include CAD, hypertension, diabetes mellitus type II, cancer, shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, rule out pulmonary embolism, osteomyelitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and right lower quadrant pain. The technologist may also be required to float to other departments as needed. Candidates should be prepared for a schedule of 40 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The position does not have any contract issues.
