Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (4x10 Hours, 7:00–17:00) with possible night shift rotation (17:30–5:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a high-volume surgical environment supporting 60–80 cases per day across 30 operating rooms
• Perform surgical technologist duties across general, trauma, vascular, endoscopic, colorectal, and gastro robotic procedures
• Participate in weeknight call coverage (averaging 1–2 nights per week) and weekend call (averaging every 4–5 weekends)
• Adapt to possible off-shift assignments (1–3 shifts per scheduling period) within a 4-week schedule cycle
• Chart accurately using EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
• Experience with general and trauma surgery required
• Experience with vascular and endoscopic procedures required
• Experience with colorectal and gastro robotic procedures required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC charting experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma center experience highly preferred
• DaVinci robotic surgical system experience highly preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
