About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year with charge experience preferred License: ARRT R and BLS required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Required weekend coverage every other week Description: Local candidates accepted within a specified radius. On-call duty is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Scrubs will be provided. Previous experience with accessing/managing ports is essential. Experience with central venous access, including non-tunneled and PICC lines, is required. Candidates should have knowledge of central venous lines care and maintenance. Experience in embolization and endovascular interventions is necessary. Familiarity with gastrostomy and biliary drainage techniques is preferred. Competence in interventional radiology procedures is required. Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential. Experience with nephrostomy procedures is preferred. Familiarity with PACS systems is necessary. Skill in performing percutaneous transhepatic cholangiograms is a plus. Candidates must have experience with PICC lines care and maintenance. Previous experience with specific equipment, such as Siemens, is desirable. Candidates should have skills in stent placement and thrombolysis/thrombectomy procedures. Experience with Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunts (TIPS) is a plus. Knowledge of upper and lower extremity angiography is frequently required. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible schedules, including weekends. All time-off requests will be managed prior to contract signing.
