About the Position
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: PALS Must-Have: 1+ year Neonatal or PICU Critical Care experience Description: The facility is a 612-bed healthcare facility known for its comprehensive services. The unit operates with advanced equipment such as Servo U & Drager VN500 ventilators, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy. Documentation is managed through an electronic system. The respiratory therapist will manage ventilated patients in a critical care setting. Skills needed include independent admission and management of patients. Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation techniques is necessary. Experience with Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation is required. Staff on the unit includes dedicated support personnel.
