About the Position

Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: SC or Multistate Compact PT License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Outpatient clinic experience, Neuro experience preferred Description: Outpatient Physical Therapist position available. Schedule is Monday to Friday. Hours are Monday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. No weekends required. No on-call requirements. Must be prepared to manage a caseload in an outpatient rehab environment. Common patient diagnoses include conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological disorders. Experience with adaptive devices and techniques for neurology patients is beneficial. Skills in strength testing, vital sign monitoring, and identifying environmental barriers are essential. The facility uses Epic for charting. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency assignments during hurricane season. All time off requests must be included at the time of submission. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
