About the Position

Job Title: Optometry Technician Profession: Optometry Tech Specialty: Ophthalmology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Day Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience preferred; 2 years or more experience is a plus License: COA certification preferred Certifications: COA certification preferred Must-Have: Experience in administering diagnostic imaging (OCT, Visual field, fundus photography) Description: Experience good multitasking skills. Patient history taking is required. Refraction experience is a plus. This is a busy office that examines and images 6 patients per hour. There are 4 exam rooms and full comprehensive ophthalmology services offered, including minor office procedures. There are 2 large imaging rooms. The office has received awards for patient experience. The patient population is adult. Scribing experience would be a plus. Blue or black scrubs are not provided.
