About the Position
Job Title: EP Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years of EP Lab experience License: Required certifications include BLS, ACLS; ARRT-R or equivalent OR RCIS is required, RCES preferred. Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cases. Description: This position involves working in an Electrophysiology Lab. The facility features multiple EP labs and a recognized trauma and teaching environment. The team focuses on adult patients with a variety of electrophysiology cases. Common procedures include Electrophysiology Studies, Catheter Ablations, and Implantable Device procedures. Candidates should be skilled in EP/structural scrub experience and have familiarity with monitoring cases. Collaboration within the department includes support from coordinators, charge nurses, and various teams for emergencies. Technology used includes EMR systems, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, IV pumps, and X-ray machines. A patient-centered approach is emphasized, prioritizing safety, quality, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Travelers should expect to participate in holiday coverage as required.
