The role focuses primarily on treating pediatric patients with various speech and language disorders. Candidates should have experience in utilizing alternative communication devices and assessment tools. Skills in working with children diagnosed with developmental delays, language disorders, and fluency issues are essential. Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including social services, will be beneficial. The setting supports a wide range of pediatric diagnoses, including autism and other developmental conditions. Strong patient and family education skills are crucial in this role. The facility provides a supportive environment with a dedicated focus on pediatric care. Ideal candidates will have familiarity with the EPIC charting system.
