About the Position
Job Title: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Speech Language Pathology (SLP) - Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: WA license in-hand required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: First-time travelers not accepted Weekends not required Floating is not required Description: This position is for an outpatient pediatric Speech Language Pathologist. The role focuses primarily on treating pediatric patients with various speech and language disorders. Candidates should have experience in utilizing alternative communication devices and assessment tools. Skills in working with children diagnosed with developmental delays, language disorders, and fluency issues are essential. Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including social services, will be beneficial. The setting supports a wide range of pediatric diagnoses, including autism and other developmental conditions. Strong patient and family education skills are crucial in this role.
