Job Overview

We are seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to help patients improve independence and daily functioning.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality rehabilitative care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
Promote patient independence, recovery, and overall quality of life
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team

Job Requirements

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (State of Massachusetts or eligible for licensure)
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Must provide valid state or federal-issued identification for facility access
