Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support residents' functional independence and quality of life
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate resident care and discharge planning
• Educate residents and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel or contract therapy experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
