Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations for scheduled outpatients as well as inpatient and ER patients
• Operate digital mammography and tomosynthesis (tomo) equipment in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within the Cerner EMR system
• Adhere to a patient scheduling workflow that accommodates both scheduled and unscheduled imaging needs
• Collaborate with the Radiology team including the Radiology Coordinator, Manager, and Supervisor to ensure smooth department operations

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiography or Mammography
• Active California State Mammography Technologist certification
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience with documented CE units in both digital mammography and tomosynthesis
• Ability to provide prior mammography case numbers for the last 2 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Tomosynthesis (tomo) training and hands-on experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting with ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Advanced ARRT certification is a plus
• Venipuncture experience is a plus
