About the Position

Job Title

Speech Language Pathologist – Outpatient Pediatric

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–17:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language pathology services in an outpatient pediatric setting within a Women and Children's Pavilion
  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients, including those associated with a Level II NICU environment
  • Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using EPIC electronic health records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support comprehensive pediatric patient outcomes
  • Float within the facility or to nearby sister facilities as needed and within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license (must be in-hand prior to start)
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
  • Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in an outpatient pediatric or NICU-affiliated speech therapy setting
  • Familiarity with travel contract assignments and compliance requirements
  • Experience floating across like units within a hospital system
