About the Position

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: SLP Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00-17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology Certifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA Must-Have: - Neonatal Experience - Modified Barium Swallow Study Description: Evaluates speech, language, and swallowing abilities of patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status. Conditions may include issues resulting from premature birth, birth injuries, injury, disease, or other causes. Synthesizes data to establish a plan of care through evidence-based practice interventions and goals appropriate to each patient’s age and development. Interacts and collaborates with a variety of professionals to implement and assess the intervention program. Completes other duties as assigned. The selected individual is expected to exhibit high-functioning capabilities and strong self-motivation. A proactive, go-getter approach to all assigned responsibilities is essential. The contractor must consistently demonstrate initiative, independence, timely, and quality care for patients.
