About the Position

Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Vascular Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Fri, Sat, Sun Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of experience in Sonographer and/or Vascular capacity. Experience in general/abdomen imaging is required. Experience in non-high-risk OB/GYN is required. Experience in vascular imaging is required. Experience with EPIC EMR is required. License: ARDMS certification is required. ARDMS (RVT) certification is highly preferred. ARDMS (OB/GYN) certification is highly preferred. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Must-Have: Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months is preferred. Driver's license is required. Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates must be proficient in the following areas: Abdomen and RUQ with liver vessel evaluation, Kidneys and bladder imaging, Pelvic imaging, both transabdominal and transvaginal, 1st Trimester OB imaging, both transabdominal and transvaginal, Evaluation of testicles/scrotum, DVT/venous evaluation of both arms and legs, Ankle-Brachial Indices (ABIs), Thyroid imaging, Aorta evaluations, Carotid evaluations, Limited 2nd and 3rd Trimester OB imaging, including BPP, measurements, and fluid checks. Experience in assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures is preferred but not required. Must work 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
