Job Title

Occupational Therapist – Pediatric Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Tuesday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 20-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and treat pediatric patients presenting with varied developmental conditions including Autism, sensory processing challenges, fine motor delays, and self-regulation difficulties
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a pediatric outpatient setting
• Document patient progress and clinical notes using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care goals
• May be required to float within the hospital as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience in a pediatric outpatient setting
• Active California OT License, or active OT license in another state with willingness to obtain CA licensure (60-day practice rule may apply during licensure process)
• Current NBCOT certification
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Non-local candidates only; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pediatric feeding and eating disorders or challenges
• Prior experience in a children's hospital setting
