About the Position
CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiothoracic Operating Room Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cardiothoracic surgery License: Valid license in hand Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, ASATT Must-Have: - Recent cardiac experience Description: The CVOR Tech will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures. This position requires scrubbing all open-heart cases. Robotic experience is preferred. On-call duty is required once a week. One weekend of on-call coverage is mandatory every six weeks. This role operates within a highly specialized Cardiothoracic and Vascular operating room. Procedures include basic Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts as well as robotic mitral valve repairs. Experience with pediatric congenital heart patients is also advantageous. The candidate must have experience with recent cardiothoracic operations.
