About the Position

Job Title: Mammography Technician Profession: Mammography Technician Specialty: Mammography Technician Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Saturday and Sunday Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 15 hours of CEUs in the past 3 years. License: Current Massachusetts Radiology and Mammography License, Current ARRT card. Certifications: ARRT Certification, BLS. Must-Have: - Digital training - 8 hours documentation. - Tomosynthesis training - 8 hours documentation. - Documentation of mammography statistics formed in the past two years. Description: Mammographer - 24 hours. Weekends Only. Required to provide coverage and perform screening and diagnostic mammograms. Candidate should be flexible and willing to work independently. Experience performing stereotactic biopsies is preferred but not mandatory. Schedule varies from week to week depending upon department needs. Candidate should be willing to travel to various offsite locations within a 10-mile radius. The ratio of Technician to Machine is 1:1.
