Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Clienttion Therapist Specialty: Clienttion Therapist Duration: 12 months Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: ARRT Certifications: None listed Must-Have: Experience on Varian True Beam, Aria, AlignRT Description: The Clienttion Therapist delivers professional radiation therapy services. This includes executing daily radiation therapy treatments and scheduling patients. They assist with simulation of patients and maintain accurate patient treatment records. Participation in quality assurance and quality control activities is required. The Clienttion Therapist works collaboratively with the oncology services team. The goal is to ensure the delivery of patient care aligns with established policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides radiation therapy treatment delivery services to cure or improve the quality of life of patients. The Clienttion Therapist accurately delivers a prescribed course of treatment. They implement and deliver a planned course of external beam, SBRT/VMAT, and conventional treatments. Treatment is administered accurately and safely while monitoring and reporting unexpected effects, reactions, and responses. Participation in a therapeutic team approach is essential for optimum treatment delivery. The therapist evaluates and assesses the physiological and psychological responsiveness of each patient daily. Details of treatment procedures must be documented accurately, including billing codes and daily treatment records. They construct and/or prepare immobilization devices and beam directional devices that facilitate treatment delivery. Patient education is provided to maximize understanding of the plan of care. Family education is offered as needed. The Clienttion Therapist provides age-appropriate care to adult and geriatric patients. A positive and energetic candidate who can quickly assimilate with the team is sought. Approximately 20 patients are treated per day. Any color scrubs are acceptable as a dress code.
