About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty License: Current state PT license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to manage a case load independently - Experience with spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, multiple trauma, hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, post-cardiac surgery, post-COVID, and medically complex patients - Experience working with multidisciplinary teams Description: This position involves providing physical therapy services in various settings. The therapist will be required to manage their case load independently. Patient types include inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient general orthopedic, sports medicine, pediatrics, neuro-specific diagnoses, and skilled nursing. No weekends or call responsibilities for this position. The therapist will participate in a supportive departmental structure, collaborating with supervisors, assistant directors, and peer therapists. The position will also involve using electronic medical records and department-specific equipment for documentation and patient care. Candidates will need to discuss time-off requests during the interview process. The attire requirements are scrub color pewter for inpatient and professional dress for outpatient settings.
