About the Position

Job Title: Mobile MRI Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years of MRI experience required License: State license not required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Must-Have: General MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac experience Description: The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) reports to the site supervisor and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols. The MRI examinations are performed on patient populations for physician interpretation. Other duties as deemed necessary may be required. Weekend work includes Saturdays from 8 AM to 4 PM during specific weeks. The scheduling will equate to 40 hours for weeks not working Saturdays and 40 hours for weeks that include Saturdays. There is no call requirement for this position. Floating between locations may be required. A radiation badge must be provided by the agency; no badge will be provided by the facility. The documentation system utilized is Epic. All requests for time off must be submitted during the application process. Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. This internship may involve direct patient care. This position aims to deliver high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety during the MRI procedures. Potential candidates must demonstrate necessary skills and knowledge relevant to MRI technology.
