Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status
• Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and safe functional activities

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Wyoming or ability to obtain prior to start
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work day shift in a rehabilitation and care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care rehabilitation environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
