Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours, Monday-Friday, variable shifts Experience: 2 years current PT experience required License: New Hampshire Physical Therapy license or compact required Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS required Must-Have: Doctorate in Physical Therapy required Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy required Previous rehab experience required Previous travel experience preferred CPSI EMR experience highly preferred Ability to treat all normal diagnoses seen in outpatient clinics required Must possess a vehicle as public transport is not available Description: This facility does not consider any traveler who resides within 50 miles of the facility. To avoid delays in processing, please provide permanent address during profile upload. Our approach to physical therapy includes direct involvement with each patient. We combine advanced hands-on techniques with patient education and individualized rehabilitative programs. Each of our therapists has training in a wide variety of traditional techniques. Many also have training in non-traditional treatment methods. We are helping patients who have orthopedic and sports injuries. We assist with gait training, balance training, fractures, sprains, and dislocations. We treat musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neck and back pain, and neurological disorders. Conditions treated include stroke and Parkinson's disease, balance and fall prevention. We also address bone and joint diseases, hand injuries, workplace injuries, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and pulmonary rehabilitation. The typical patient ratio is 8 patients per day from Monday to Thursday, and 6 on Friday. The traveler will provide evaluations and treatments, including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises. This will be for patients with varying diagnoses, including post-operative care, joint replacement, back pain, tendonitis issues, general deconditioning, balance, and vertigo issues. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified during profile upload. Requests for time off after upload will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. The outpatient clinics are closed for major holidays. All travelers uploaded to the system must note when they can be reached and have voicemails set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail set up when contacted will be redirected. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. The facility will not approve scheduling requests after the offer. Please obtain this information prior to submission. Requests after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.
