About the Position

Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years EP lab experience required; looking for Cath, IR, and EP experience. License: National certification preferred. Certifications: AHA or Red Cross ACLS and BLS are required. RCIS is also preferred in addition to the required certifications. Must-Have: On-call required. Will float within the scope to meet facility needs. Nicotine-free. Description: The position involves working as an Electrophysiology Technician. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the EP lab, with additional experience in Cath and IR being desirable. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Candidates must possess the preferred certifications of RCVT, ACLS, and BLS. There may be a need for on-call duties, and candidates should be prepared to float to meet the needs of the facilities. All candidates must be nicotine-free, as this is a smoke-free facility. Additionally, there are time-sensitive modules that require prioritization once confirmed for an assignment. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and cannot be added later. Candidates will be required to complete a negative drug screening prior to starting. Travelers will be required to pass EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation. The facility enforces a strict no-call policy regarding communications. Modules associated with the position are non-billable, typically ranging from 6 to 15 hours, and must be completed pre-start and annually as per specialty. Candidates should prepare for a focused and compliant working environment.
