Location: Rich Square, North Carolina
Position Type: 13-Week Contract
Weekly Gross: $1,600–$1,630

We are actively seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a healthcare facility in Rich Square, North Carolina for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a great opportunity to work with a dedicated rehabilitation team while helping patients improve independence in daily living activities and overall functional performance under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and independence with ADLs

• Assist patients with functional training, mobility tasks, and adaptive strategies

• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License

• Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Current CPR/BLS Certification (if required by facility)

• SNF experience preferred but not required

• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
