Location: Rich Square, North Carolina
Position Type: 13-Week Contract
Weekly Gross: $1,600–$1,630
We are actively seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a healthcare facility in Rich Square, North Carolina for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a great opportunity to work with a dedicated rehabilitation team while helping patients improve independence in daily living activities and overall functional performance under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist

Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and independence with ADLs

Assist patients with functional training, mobility tasks, and adaptive strategies
-
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs

Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Qualifications:

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License

Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Current CPR/BLS Certification (if required by facility)

SNF experience preferred but not required
-
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
