Position Type: 13-Week Contract
Weekly Gross: $2,100–$2,200
We are actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Rich Square, North Carolina for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated rehabilitation team while helping patients improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities to enhance their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

Provide evidence-based speech therapy services to improve communication and swallowing function

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home exercise programs

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
-
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY candidates may be considered where applicable)

SNF experience preferred but not required

Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
