About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: NJ State License required (can submit pending) Certifications: BLS, CNMT, ARRT (N) Must-Have: - CNMT or ARRT (N) in Nuclear Medicine - Must be willing to float to two other locations - Able to inject isotopes and medications - Must be able to start IVs - Current COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform nuclear medicine procedures and imaging. The technologist will be expected to inject radiopharmaceuticals and start IVs. Candidates must have a valid NJ state license or be in the process of obtaining it. Experience with GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in HIDA scans, perfusion studies, and various other nuclear medicine tests. The clinician will work with a daily census of up to 8 adult patients. This role involves working with interdisciplinary teams. The technician will maintain high standards of patient care and adhere to safety protocols.
