Histotechnician - (Histo Tech - HTL)

This Travel Histology Technologist or Technician position in Palo Alto, CA requires an ASCP HTL or HT certification, an Associate’s Degree, and at least 5 years of experience. You must be proficient in electron microscopy, including cutting both thick and thin sections of epoxy-embedded tissue, cutting frozen sections using a cryostat, and independently examining tissues in the electron microscope. Responsibilities include preparing laboratory solutions, processing and embedding specimens for electron microscopy, producing photomicrographs or digital images of tissue ultrastructure, and staining frozen sections with fluorescent antibodies.
