About the Position

Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU (Days)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Weekends and/or Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level 3 NICU setting
• Operate and manage high frequency ventilation equipment
• Assist with neonatal deliveries as part of the respiratory care team
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions in an acute care environment
• Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with all facility standards prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of RRT experience with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Active Arizona Respiratory Therapist state license with no disciplinary actions
• Active NBRC-RRT certification from an approved vendor
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active NRP certification from an approved vendor
• Level 3 NICU experience including high frequency ventilation and delivery room experience
• Must not be an Arizona resident (non-AZ residents only eligible for this assignment)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel therapy assignment experience
• Active PALS and/or ACLS certification
• Experience working in a large acute care or tertiary care teaching hospital environment
