Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting to restore or maintain functional independence
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Washington
• Current NBCOT certification
• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract therapy experience
• Familiarity with SNF documentation and billing requirements including MDS/PDPM
